Full Metal Sister Marilu
Overview
A fairly fun side scroller that has similar game play as Metal Slug. The stages are creatively made and almost puzzle like, enough that it will make you strategically think where you should shoot and camp. Fun game that can kill time. -Anonymous
DuoPrincess
Overview
This is an adventure game, featuring the characters from Squaresoft's Threads of Fate RPG for the PSX. It is one or 2 player, and is really fun to play. The 2D sprites merged with the 3D background works really well, and the level design is brilliant. You get to choose from 2 characters at the start, both with different attacks. This is a really great game. Get this!
Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha Barrage STG 1 & 2
Overview
A classic scrolling shooting game with characters from Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha A's. You play either as Nanoha or Fate. The story is essentially the same as in the anime. The game looks quite good, the music is fine, but I've heard better sound effects. Still, this STG belongs among the better doujin games, give it a try.

eXceed 2nd -VAMPIRE REX- is a truly amazing STG. It follows in the style of Ikaruga where you can absord different coloured bullets depending on what mode you are in. Acceleration of Suguri
Oveview:
This is the sequel to Suguri. Instead of being a side scrolling shoot 'em up game, it is a fighting game, with a difference. You fly around as different characters, shooting bullets at each other. The action is really fast sometimes, with a lot of things going on in the screen. The graphics are really nice, as are the characters and the attacks you can pull off. This is a really great game, and if you are a fan of fighting and shoot 'em up games, this is a game forged in heaven.

Hinokakera v3.00 fragment: Eclipse
Overview
Fragment: Eclipse is the third major update in the "Hinokakera" series of doujin 2.5D fighting games, developed by Akaishi Ryuka under the circle name "Reddish Region".
Set in the post-apocalyptic future, after the humanity had suffered an attack from a group of inhuman creatures and was nearly wiped out, with the technical progress coming to a permanent halt, it revolves around a group of characters, each with their own mission. While some of them are humans, others posses demonic powers, which had caused several Demon Sealing Wars in a not-so-distant-past. Particularly, "fragment:Eclipse" offers a visual novel like Story mode that follows the adventures of a single character - Raven.
Hinokakera's current fighting system, while set in 3D environment, is similar to the newer 2D games of the genre, relying on long combos, air combat, super moves and several way to cancel (or "brake") an attack in order to combo further. -from MobyGames

Plot:A Doujin game based off from the popular anime To Aru Kagaku no Railgun. Basically,It all started when Misaka Mikoto's panties were stolen by Shirai Kuroko. You play as Mikoto as you go up againsts various bosses in each level to reclaim her lost undies.(It's a simple yet fun game to play.)
Gunners Heart
Long time Atlus fans may remember an early PS2 game called "Sky Gunner", a cute little 3D shooter where you took to the great blue sky and wreaked up all kinds of mayhem. It featured a cast of incredibly cute characters - remarkably so, even for a Japanese game - and aircraft designs that ranked close next to Miyazaki's masterpieces like Laputa. Despite the incredible effort that went its aesthetics, it was somewhat confusing to control, and the framerate grew abysmal in spots, relegating it to cult status. Still, it was a fun little game, and doujin software house EasyGameStation used it as the basis for the shooter Gunners Heart.

Guardian Heroines Final
Overview
Have you ever played Guardian Heroes on the Sega Saturn? If you have, you will know what this game is like even without playing it. For those of you who havn't, this is what it is. There is a Story mode, and a Battle / practice mode. Story is the better of the two, because some of the levels are just amazing.
You can pick a variety of different characters, mainly girls, hence the name Guardian HEROINES. You fight multiple enemies at one time, and can switch between layers on the level. There are lots of different moves to pull off, and the level design and enemies are really cute. The action is also very smooth and fast.
